Avery Browning serves as a Safety Specialist for Legner Energy Group, where he provides safety leadership and regulatory compliance support for transmission, distribution, and substation operations. Avery holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety & Health from Eastern Kentucky University and is a Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP). With several years of experience in occupational safety and health within the electric utility industry, he has built a strong reputation for developing effective safety programs, conducting comprehensive audits and investigations, and helping organizations strengthen their overall safety culture and performance. In his current role, Avery works closely with utility clients, field personnel, and company leadership to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, industry standards, and client-specific requirements. His responsibilities include conducting field safety audits, hazard evaluations, incident investigations, safety training, and safety program implementation across transmission lines, distribution systems, and substations. Avery is passionate about creating safer work environments through proactive risk management, employee engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives that support both operational excellence and worker safety.
